The new NÍTID compact active line array systems offer premium performance from a compact line array, with new operational standards of versatility, ease of setup and use; including optimised ‘plug & play’ system control presets for virtually instantaneous operation. These powerful NÍTID systems are developed on proven cabinet designs, incorporating unique performance components like Amate Audio’s proprietary long throw waveguide.
ACOUSTICAL PREDICTION FOR BETTER INSTALLATIONS Free EASE and EASE FOCUS 3 libraries allow you to predict the performance of a specific NÍTID system in any given space, prior to installation. The powerful EASE software calculates 3D coverage maps, speech intelligibility, reverberation times and other acoustical parameters – even before the room itself is built. Plan correctly and you will succeed!
NÍTID NÍTID is a new active system series from Amate Audio that employs the very latest digital amplification and processing technologies, in symbiosis with advanced electroacoustic research, to achieve exceptional performance levels from ultra compact speaker cabinet designs. NíTID – from the Latin nitidus, meaning bright, glistening or lustrous, and nitere, to shine. The name is an inspiration for our new loudspeaker series that celebrates 45 years of Amate Audio.
A HIGH PERFORMANCE VERSATILE LINE ARRAY SOLUTION
SMART AND SIMPLE
N208 arrays are configured in paired active and passive cabinets, in a proven high efficiency control system 3rd generation 1500 W Class D amplification and DSP control in the active cabinet controls both elements. DSP control on the N208 incudes 5-band EQ menu with five equalizer, crossovers, delay, limiter, gain control, mute and input dynamic compressor. The N18W and N218W feature 2500 W Class D amplification and DSP system control, including crossovers, EQ’s, delay, limiters, gain control, mute, input dynamic compressor and polarity. ‘Plug & play’ DSP presets enable setup and system configuration in the minimum of time. These include configurations for different numbers of N208 elements with either sub, and a wide range of cardioid signal presets for the N18W and N218W.
The N208 is a 2-way line array with two direct radiating 8” loudspeakers with 2.5-inch voice coil and neodymium magnet. It is designed around Amate Audio’s proprietary 110º x 11º aluminium waveguide, coupled with two 1.75” voice coil diameter, PEN diaphragm, neodymium magnet compression drivers. The waveguide provides exceptionally consistent signal reproduction over a greater distance than is usual with compact line arrays.
RAPID SETUP AND DEPLOYMENT
The N18W and N218W are high power compact subwoofers, matched for use with the N208. Direct radiating 18” LF drivers – single in the N18W, dual in the N218W – are front-loaded in bass-reflex tuned enclosures with laminar ports. A 4” inside-outside copper voice coil increases thermal and power handling stability. Water repellent cone treatment enables all-weather use.
STRUCTURAL DETAIL AND INTEGRITY
All cabinets incorporate ergonomically designed and located handles and rigging points for exceptionally easy handling and deployment. Custom rigging accessories enable easy and rapid flying or stacking of the N208; in conjunction with the DSP system setup presets, this makes the N208 among the most readily and rapidly deployable line array systems on the market.
