Chateau du Cap This beautiful 19th century chateau is situated on the prestigious Cap d’Antibes between Cannes and Antibes.

The villa was built in 1865 by Baron Louis Thenard and was acquired by the uncle of Tsar Nicolas II, Grand Duke Nicolas Romanov, the commander of the Russian Army. He was married to Anastacia the daughter of King Nicolas I of Montenegro, whose sisters were the Queen of Italy and of Serbia, and lived in the Chateau from 1919 to 1929.

The present owners have carefully refurbished this impressive villa to a very high standard while remaining true to its 19th century origins and royal history.
