research and documentation
In Himachal Pradesh, the small town of Faryadi conceals a distinctive pottery technique that is rapidly disappearing, posing a threat to the local culture, art, and people’s way of life, as it has been a significant source of income. Through the collaborative efforts of NASA India and Live NORTH, a comprehensive documentation of this unique pottery style has been undertaken.
As part of the entire team, contributions were made in various aspects of the documentation, with a significant focus on composing the entire coffee table book using InDesign®️. This book subsequently served as a reference for two other batches in the program. Additionally, involvement in sketching tools and live documentation for the book was also a part of the contributions.
