Art Campus Studio

Member/Year : Individual - Design 5, 2022 The architectural narrative draws inspiration from the works of Max Richter, Martin Heade, and Ralph Waldo Emerson, embodying their respective artistic philosophies within the design. Through the interplay of light and darkness, slow and continuous circulation, and a thoughtful integration with nature, the architecture serves as a dynamic threshold, guiding inhabitants through a meaningful journey. The culmination of the experience, influenced by Richter's music, Heade's luminous paintings, and Emerson's connection with nature, is reflected in the intricate layers of the design, emphasizing memory and reflection as integral components of the architectural narrative.

Savannah Incubation Center

Members/Year : Nataile, Brian, Aman - Design 6, 2023 The architectural design of the incubation center in Savannah, Georgia, showcases a parallel skin structure that visually unifies the business incubator and residential components. Through the strategic use of parallel lines and patterns, the exterior skin symbolizes the interconnected growth of entrepreneurial ventures and communal living.

This design choice establishes a cohesive aesthetic, portraying a harmonious blend of innovation and community engagement.

Project : Savannah Incubation Center

Member/Year : Natalie, Brian, Aman : Design 6 The programmatic elements of the building are meticulously foreshadowed to offer a glimpse into the incubation center's mission.

The business incubator side reveals its purpose through visible features like flexible co-working spaces and prototyping labs, enticing potential entrepreneurs with a preview of the incubation process. Simultaneously, the residential side foreshadows a sense of community with communal spaces and shared gardens, providing a visual narrative of the vibrant living experience within. The internal circulation design embraces a radial configuration, fostering connectivity and spontaneous interactions among entrepreneurs and residents. This central hub becomes a dynamic focal point, embodying the collaborative and innovative spirit that defines the incubation center in Savannah.

Member/Year : Yousef, Aman - Design 7, 2024 In the heart of Rome, a visionary wellness center emerges, tailored for individuals seeking mental and physical rehabilitation. Drawing inspiration from the labyrinth, the architecture invites visitors on a transformative journey through designed spaces, ranging from highly public to deeply private.

Member/Year : Yousef, Aman : Design 7 The multi-level narrative unfolds strategically, transitioning from vibrant public spaces to secluded, private retreats, fostering a sense of safety and comfort for visitors. The exterior design embraces openness with expansive plazas and communal areas, encouraging social interaction and community engagement. Indoor and outdoor workout areas, carefully curated to cater to diverse activities, reflect a commitment to physical well-being. The incorporation of natural elements in outdoor zones connects users with nature, complementing the healing atmosphere, and the inclusion of a spa within the center provides a sanctuary for relaxation, enhancing the holistic approach to rehabilitation. This wellness center epitomizes a harmonious fusion of architectural innovation and holistic well-being, guiding individuals on a purposeful journey through diverse spaces to create a transformative healing experience and become an integral part of Rome's urban tapestry.

Study Abroad Skechting : Vicenza, Italy Project :

Member/Year : Individual - Design 7

In this thesis project, I wanted to go into the intricate relationship between urban hotels and their surrounding contexts, aiming to decipher the unique experiences they offer to individuals. By explaining the architectural choices that define these structures and unravel the deliberate design decisions that contribute to the overall ambiance. From the seamless integration of a hotel into the urban fabric to the thoughtful consideration of local culture, my exploration seeks to understand why these buildings are crafted the way they are. Ultimately, strive to illustrate how these large urban hotels become not just accommodations but integral components that enrich the urban narrative and enhance the quality of life for those who traverse and experience their spaces.
