What is your craziest fan story? One

time

I was at

Kemp

Elementary and I walked in and this girl fainted. And that was the craziest thing, I will never forget that.

What do you wish you knew when you were younger? I wish I knew I was okay in the skin that I am in. I used to be really insecure about my skin color. {Having } light skin and long blonde hair in a majority Black school, I got a lot of hate. Now I love it.

How would you describe your style? I would say it's a good blend between girly and tomboy.

Do you have any advice for aspiring rappers? I always say the two P's, "Patience and Persistence". A lot of people think that being a rapper is the easiest way out or whatever the media is feeding them [but] that's a lie. Just like when people that want to be a doctor, they have to go to school for eight years, you have to put in work to be a rapper. There is no easy way out. Just think of how many rappers you know and how many that make it. I have been doing this since I was 10 and now I'm 17 and I'm just starting to get to a point of success. So it's definitely a lot of patience and a lot of persistence. You have to but that work in.

CongratsClassof 2016 By: Kah la Br addy As graduations have taken over our social media feeds and celebratory messages are left in the comments, let?s talk about what?s next! The next choice you make will have a large impact on your life. It?s the first step into the real world. No more going to school simply because you have to, the choice is solely up to you. You get to pick what you want to spend your time on and not what state curriculum requires. Imagine taking a slew of classes in things you are really and truly passionate about at a college that you chose. Or maybe school isn?t for you and you choose to go to the military to serve your country or you?re an artist who decides to be an entrepreneur and focus on your craft? Whatever the choice, just be sure to concentrate and hone in on your talents. Make these next years some of the most developmental years of your life. It?s your chance for a new beginning and ample time for you to figure yourself out. Surround yourself with people that are full of positivity and encouragement, friends that want the best for you and you for them. Whether the next step for you is college, military, or entrepreneurship make sure your next step is the best step that will setup you up for the walk ahead. Go at your own pace and know that not everything goes as planned. Have fun as you accomplish your goals and don?t let stress and pressure knock you off your feet. Congratulations class of 2016! You did it!
