Amanda Hamilton Am and a is on e o f the leadin g broadcasters and writers on nutrition and health in the UK. Her no nonsense and upbeat approach has made her a media favourite (The Sunday Times called her 'Queen of the Detox Scene') and she became well known TV face through BBC2’s “Something For The Weekend” and her “Spa of Embarrassing Illnesses” which she co-directed and presented. Amanda has been the face of Cancer Research’s ‘Great British Breakfast’; the face and ambassador of “Visit Scotland” and the keynote speaker for several international conferences on health. She is a keen skier and mountain biker and trained as a yoga teacher. She is also an exinternational badminton player. Amanda (36) has four children: two stepchildren (age 15 and 12) and a daughter age 6 and a son, age 14 months. She speaks Spanish fluently after living in Spain and Mexico where she worked as a journalist.
