KAPIT-BISIG kapit- Bisig is a Filipino term that means connected or holding together and as part of ASEAN, we should have unity as well. I created this campaign which is called the " United Asean Campaign" in order to promote this notion.

"WHAT DOES ASEAN MEAN TO YOU?"

PERSONALLY

Personally for me, ASEAN is a way for Southeast Asian Countries to be united and work together because as most of us were captured by different countries that took a rift on our relationship and I believe through this we are seeing how we can help one another. It is also a big help for the countries to become globally competitive and offer what western countries can do.

As a filipino citizen, I see that ASEAN can help us grow more and learn more. It can be a sort of support system for the plans we have. We can learn from each other about the good ways the country can be better.

As a student, ASEAN is a way for me to have more connections and to better the skills I have. I could also gain more knowledge and skills through it from various Architects and Designers in the different ASEAN Countries. It also paves the way to be able to work in these ASEAN countries easier (upon meeting a certain criteria) which I believe can make me a better designer as well.

ASEAN can also help in mitigating the problems that we have in our country. It can also help resolve the problems between Southeast Asian Countries easier because of the easier platform in communicating.
