PROJECT 3 CONSISTS A SERIES OF DRAWINGS FOR MAUVE HOTEL LOCATED AT 1 JALAN TAYLORS, 47500 SUBANG JAYA, SELANGOR. MAUVE HOTEL IS A RETRO-THEMED HOTEL THAT ASPIRES TO BRING THE YOUNG AND THE OLD WITH USE OF ARCADES AND VENDING MACHINES AS PART A TOOL OF COMMUNICATION. THE HOTEL PROVIDES TRENDY CAFES WITH FULL USE OF VENDING MACHINES, EXCLUSIVE ARCADE ROOMS,EVEN A ROOFTOP BAR THAT HAS A PANORAMIC VIEW OF THE CITY.THE SPACES ARE WELL EQUIPPED WITH BRIGHT RETRO-STYLE FURNITURES AND LIGHTING TO FURTHER EMANATE THE CONCEPT.
REFLECTION in conclusion, this project has given me a more thorough knowledge especially in technical and construction drawings to help me further in my studies and future. big thank you to ms norji and ms aziah for guiding me throughout this module with all the informative lectures and activities.
PROJECT 2 PRECEDENT STUDIES
PROJECT 2 IS A PROJECT THAT TESTS OUR ABILITY TO OBSERVE WITH A CRITICAL EYE. WE HAD TO DO A PRECEDENT STUDY BASED ON AN EXISTING BUILDING THAT WOULD RELATE TO OUR HYBRID IDENTITY HOTEL. OBSERVATIONS WERE MADE THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHS, SKETCHES.IN HINDSIGHT, THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS PROJECT IS TO MAKE US UNDERSTAND THE SIGNIFICANCE OF DRAWING CONVENTION AND DETAILING
REFLECTION in conclusion, this project has given me a more thorough knowledge especially in observing the flow of a space, materials that were used, and the different types of finishes . not to mention, it gave me a greater understanding about the importance of ubbl fire safety regulations and space design. big thank you to ms norji and ms aziah for guiding me throughout this module with all the informative lectures and activities.

PROJECT 2 IS A PROJECT THAT TESTS OUR ABILITY TO OBSERVE WITH A CRITICAL EYE AND MEASURING SKILLS. WE HAD TO RECORD AN EXISTING AND PROPOSED DOOR AND WINDOW IN OUR HOUSE AND PROVIDE THE APPROPRIATE DRAWING CONVENTIONS AND DETAILING.
