IMPRINT
The IMPRINT project is a groundbreaking initiative aimed at transforming the current perception of detention and remand centres in Australia. With a human-centred design approach, the project places a strong emphasis on the mental health and wellbeing of its residents. It explores the Biophilia Hypothesis, examining how natural elements like community gardens and significant landscaping features can positively impact human well-being.

CLUB KURRAJONG
Inspired by the Kurrajong Hotels history and the classic card games played at speakeasies of the past, Club Kurrajong breathes new life into a pub lost to time. The concept embraces the four suits of playing cards across its floors, inspired by the colour schemes and forms found in a deck of cards. The journey begins on the ground floor with a sophisticated international cuisine restaurant, the first floor brings a vibrant jazz bar that transports you back in time, second floor is a boutique hotel that continues the smoky intimacy of the bar, and finally the rooftop is a open air live music venue and bar which allows for singing and dancing all night long.

HUDSON & SONS
Hudson & Sons’ 1 Denison street firm evoke their historical beginnings in 1950. The space utilises glass panelling, rich timbers and deep lush fabrics to portray Hudson & Sons’ values of honesty, confidence and heritage. The sharp, bold lines seen in the space represent their strong and unwavering support to clients.

2xx
Established in 2020 on the streets of New York, 2XX ‘Double X’ is a high fashion clothing brand. 2XX’s Surry Hills flagship store incorporates all of the beauty and culture of New York City. The space is split into two distinct areas: The Brownstone and the Gallery. The Brownstone displays rich wood tones and an eclectic and playful styling. In contrast the Gallery strips back the original building and embraces its natural light and large open space.

EXHIBITIONS

Where is home?
The Where is Home project brings anti-homeless architecture and cardboard homes into the USYD Law Library. The design uses recycled cardboard boxes to create a sharp and uncomfortable pathway through the space. The process of assembly and disassembly is a key component of the design with it not only relating to the relocating of the homeless, but also the design’s 12 month life span in the space.

Model Making
