Agriculture Mechanics 1 This course is designed for students interested in learning in a hands-on environment. The course will focus on the safety operation and utilization of equipment used in the basic maintenance of homes, farms, and shops. The course will cover basic agriculture mechanics skills in the areas of shop and facility safety, tool use and safety and shop safety, measurements, fasteners, oxyacetylene welding, arc welding, metalworking, woodworking, rope work, project design, concrete and masonry, plumbing & irrigation, electrical systems, equipment operation and maintenance and small engine operation, maintenance and repair.
