United States History This course examines major turning points in United States history in the twentieth century. Modern World History This course is a survey of world culture and world history, with an emphasis on modern history from late eighteenth century to the present. Current world issues are discussed with focus on the expansion of the west and the growing interdependence of people and cultures throughout the world.
