At AD&V®, we believe that design is a powerful tool for transformation, and our 2024 impact report is a testament to that belief. This year’s report reflects our progress, our purpose, and the path we’re forging toward a more sustainable and equitable future.
We find ourselves at a critical juncture in our sustainability journey. Around the world, the urgency of climate action, social equity, and responsible business has never been more apparent yet the path forward is increasingly complex.
From economic uncertainty to environmental setbacks, the challenges we face are real and growing But rather than retreat, now is the time todouble down We champion the idea that moments of pressure are also moments of opportunity They call on us to lead with clarity, courage, and conviction
This year has tested our resilience, but it has also reaffirmed our purpose We’ve seen firsthand how sustainability is not a side initiative, but a core strategy for long-term success It’s about building systems that endure, relationships that uplift, and solutions that regenerate
In that spirit, the 2024 Impact Report conveys a renewed sense of focus and intentionality We restructured it to better align with our strategic priorities, sharpen our metrics, and tell a clearer story of how we’re creating value for people, for communities, and for the planet. Every section was designed to connect our actions to outcomes, and our outcomes to purpose.
As we look forward to 2025, we are deepening our commitment to building a more sustainable, equitable, and resilient future. Our focus extends beyond environmental responsibility. In 2025, we are prioritizing leadership representation, living wages, and advancing our alignment with the UN Global Compact’s Forward Faster initiative ensuring that our progress is inclusive, measurable, and globally relevant.
This is not a time to slow down It’s a time to recommit to our values, to our mission, and to each other We are proud of the progress we’ve made, but we know our work is just beginning Together, we will continue to build a future where people and planet thrive no matter how challenging the road may be

This past March, AD&V® proudly sponsored three team members as they embarked on a life-changing journey to the Yaque community in the Dominican Republic with Bridges to Community Bridges to Community is a nonprofit organization dedicated to sustainable development and poverty alleviation through volunteer-driven initiatives in Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.

This marked our second consecutive year volunteering with Bridges to Community, reinforcing our commitment to service and social impact through hands-on action
During their week-long service trip, our team worked side-by-side with volunteers and local residents to build a new home for a family in need From laying cinder blocks and mixing cement to cutting rebar and painting, they helped construct a sturdy, dignified home. The home was also built with a proper roof and sealed floor, which will have a lasting positive impact on the family’s health, safety, and quality of life.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, they successfully raised funds to cover the cost of construction materials for the home. This initiative was a powerful reminder of the impact we can make when we come together with purpose and compassion.
We are incredibly proud of the team members who represented AD&V® with heart and dedication, and for demonstrating how design and service can transform lives, one brick at a time.

For this year’s Earth Month, AD&V® proudly launched Green Week, a weeklong internal initiative designed to deepen our commitment to sustainability and inspire meaningful action across our team
Green Week was filled with interactive sessions and hands-on activities that explored how sustainability can be woven into every layer of our work and lives Each day focused on a different theme, from global frameworks to local action, empowering our team to connect values to practice and design with purpose
We began the week by grounding ourselves in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and our role as a Certified B Corporation, reaffirming our commitment to transparency, accountability, and positive impact We then explored the AIA 2030 Commitment, learning how our design decisions can help mitigate climate change and move us toward carbon-neutral buildings
Our team also examined how to integrate sustainability into daily workflows, from planning and material selection to client communication and internal operations This allowed us to brainstorm ways to continue improving our processes with the environment in mind
The AD&V® team also participated in a volunteer day at the Huerto Comunitario of El Bastión, supporting local green infrastructure and community resilience by cultivating vegetables, herbs, and flowers in their community garden
To close the week, we hosted a hands-on session using Climate Studio, a performance-driven design tool that helps us analyze energy use, daylight, and carbon impact This helped us reinforce the power of technology in making informed, climate-conscious decisions
Green Week served as a powerful reminder that sustainability is not a one-time initiative It’s a mindset, a responsibility, and a journey We’re proud of our team’s engagement and look forward to continuing this tradition as we work toward a greener, healthier future
We kicked off the start of the year with a funfilled Field Day at the University of Puerto Rico’s Botanical Garden in Río Piedras. The team enjoyed games specifically designed to foster teamwork and collaboration, strengthening our bonds while having fun The day wrapped up with a delicious barbecue lunch under the trees a perfect blend of nature, connection, and flavor

AD&V® celebrated Tanya and Sujeira on Administrative Professionals Day with a special video and gifts Their dedication and organizational magic keep our office running smoothly, and we’re endlessly grateful for all that they do From coordinating calendars to creating a welcoming atmosphere, they're the heartbeat of our daily operations
