There is no better way to see the world than as a War Eagle Traveler. The Auburn Alumni Association is proud to present a variety of exciting tours for 2016, international and domestic. The most up-to-date information may be found on aualum.org/travel, as trips and dates are subject to change.

Jan. 9–17

An educational nine-day journey through Cuba’s historical, economic and political past and its vibrant, culturally rich present. You will connect with Cuban citizens from all walks of life, including artists, educators and entrepreneurs, to discover the realities of this incredibly fascinating nation.

Treasures of Southern Africa Jan. 20–Feb. 3

Join us on an extraordinary trip to South Africa. Discover the spirit of Cape Town and Johannesburg, ride aboard the luxurious Rovos Rail, marvel at the close-up sightings of exotic, wild animals on a safari, and feel the power of Victoria Falls.

Amazon River Expedition Jan. 22–31

This custom-designed journey features a cruise in the mysterious Amazon River Basin and two nights in historic Lima, Peru. Led by expert Peruvian naturalists, seek rare indigenous species and visit local villages to observe the traditional way of life of the ribereños (river people).

Sailing the Windward Islands Jan. 23–30

Elude the depths of winter on this cruise of the Caribbean’s tropical Windward Islands aboard the chartered, three-masted yacht M.Y. LE PONANT. Enjoy classic “life under sail” round trip from Fortde-France, Martinique, to Dominica, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Tobago Cays Marine Park, Grenada, and St. Lucia.
