Luoghi dove il tempo scorre ancora lentamente e spesso la luce del sole lascia il posto a quella soffusa e magica delle candele, quando non si vogliono mettere in moto i generatori per non alterare il silenzio del bosco. Uno di questi posti dove ancora molti elementi autentici s’incontrano, si trova proprio a ridosso delle Alpi Carniche. La splendida posizione panoramica ne fa uno spettacolare punto di osservazione a tutto campo sulle vicine vette del Zuc del Bôr e il Monte Cavallo, fino alle Alpi Giulie verso il Jôf di Montasio ed ancora più in giù il Mangart. L’azienda agrituristica produce formaggi e insaccati, coltiva ortaggi e piccoli frutti.
La cucina, genuina e fatta di ingredienti semplici è a disposizione con le tipiche pietanze di queste zone: frico e polenta, minestrone, gnocchi e dolci fatti in casa, oltre ai rinomati cjalsons. Il luogo ideale dove fermarsi a dormire per poi alzarsi di buon ora e scegliere uno dei numerosi itinerari per i sentieri vicini, a piedi oppure optare per un percorso in mountain bike. Malga Glazzat è raggiungibile da Pontebba seguendo la provinciale che attraverso Studena Alta e Aupa porta a Sella Cereschiattis. La medesima Sella è altresì raggiungibile risalendo la Val d’Aupa lungo la strada provinciale che parte da Moggio Udinese. The building that once was the shepherds hut, has now become a place where visitors from the unhealthy grey cities can find relief in the coolness, in the pristine environment and in the forgotten flavours. Places where time flows slowly and where the sunlight gives way to the magic of candle light when the generators are left off to avoid disturbing the peace of the forest. One of the places where you can still experience these feelings is located right on the Carnic Alps; the perfect positioning and splendid view make it a fantastic vantage point to admire the Zuc del Bôr peaks and Mount Cavallo, all the way down towards the Julian Alps with the Jof di Montasio and further still, the Mangart. The agritourism there produces cheeses and cured meats, it also grows vegetables and small fruits.
The authentic cuisine, made with simple ingredients offers typical dishes of the area, such as: frico and polenta, minestrone, homemade Gnocchi, baked goods as well as the renowned “Cjalsons”. This is an ideal place to spend a night, wake up early and take one of the hiking trails or go for a bikeride on one of the paths.
