During the university’s Meliora Weekend, the chapter hosted the annual Red Dress Gala and doubled their profits from the previous year to benefit Alpha Phi Foundation. Collegians enjoyed reconnecting with alumnae. Silent auction highlights included a wine tour, chocolate basket and a University of Rochester spirit package. The chapter hosted their second annual Alpha Phifa soccer tournament and doubled profits from this event to benefit Alpha Phi Foundation.

The chapter hosted its first Alpha Phiesta philanthropy event. Members also launched a new Move Your Phi’t 5K philanthropy event.
The chapter house was remodeled in the summer. Sisters hosted a successful APhitness campus-wide fitness challenge to support women’s heart health. Alumnae were welcomed back to campus with a party at the chapter house. Members also volunteered at Hiram House, a day camp for children.

NEW YORK Hofstra (Theta Mu) After fall informal recruitment, Theta Mu is the largest chapter on campus. The chapter teamed with Delta Chi fraternity for Fall Fest and created a “Pirates of the Caribbean”-themed float. Collegians also participated in the New York City Founders’ Day celebration. The chapter received the university’s Most Spirited Award and placed second in the homecoming competition. A Dad’s Day event featured a barbeque at the chapter house and attending a football game. The chapter welcomed 23 new members following their first fall recruitment and hosted their first Red Dress Gala. Sisters dedicated their new chapter house in September with the help of International President Linda Long Boland (Gamma Kappa-CSU/Long Beach). Alumnae, Carnegie Mellon Panhellenic and fraternity presidents, Greek Life staff, friends and families attended the dedication ceremony and enjoyed house tours and refreshments.
