Most Powerful Latinas is a ground-breaking event. We will convene the most preeminent Latinas in the marketplace (i.e., business, government, the military, philanthropy, education and the arts) for a wide-ranging conversation that will challenge conventional wisdom, inspire participants, and set the pathway for a brighter future for professional Latinas and for all involved in this exclusive event. This will be an opportunity to connect with, and be inspired by, nationally recognized speakers through keynote addresses, one-on-one interviews, panel discussions, and interactive small group discussions where guests can also learn from each other’s stories.

In addition, we will discuss specific strategies on how to serve on a Fortune 500 board of directors, examine the global impact of women leaders & entrepreneurs, discuss how to build a better future for yourself, and deliver a top-notch networking event with a common purpose among all participants.

General Criteria for MPL Nominees and Rising Stars

MOST POWERFUL LATINA NOMINEE Women nominated for inclusion on the MPL list are prioritized as follows:

+

Women leading large public companies with significant operating roles, rather than C-Level staff roles

+

Women operating large private firms and entrepreneurs who have successfully scaled their businesses into the middle market

+

Latinas who although retired, exercise leadership on Fortune 500 boards

RISING STAR In the event your nominees are not selected as one of Top 50, we will include them in the Rising Star category as described below: High-potential corporate Latinas (Executive Directors and above, depending on how your company’s levels work) with approximate qualification to #1 above, recommended by their companies, and be (or become) ALPFA Gold Members prior to the event.

ALPFA will vet all candidates and may select up to 5 for the Rising Star category from your company, varying on your package level. Candidates must meet the criteria as spelled out above.
