BRAND GUIDELINES 2017

INTRODUCTION Mylan remains at the forefront of pharmaceutical innovation, consistently ranked in the top-tier of medical research. As a global pharmaceutical company, we remain committed to our vision of innovation, research, excellence and public service. Over the last year, we have overseen an effort to strengthen the communications strategy and to develop tools and resources designed to assist us all in conveying a forward-looking story about Mylan’s mission and impact. At Mylan, we believe in innovation for a healthier future.

This Brand Guidelines book is the basic guide for establishing and maintaining a consistent image for Mylan. The Mylan name and logo are well-established and carry world-class brand equity. It is the responsibility of everyone in the Mylan medicine community to use these elements in a consistent manner to maintain a clear, unified brand identity.

This guides provides general guidelines for the visual and verbal articulation of the Mylan brand, as well as specific directions for the application of our logo and related elements. We recommend that you refer to this guide whenever you develop mar keting communications.

MYLAN LOGO The Mylan logo represents us at the very highest level and is vitally important to our brand. It acts as a signature, an identifier and a stamp of quality.

It is, and should always be, the most consistent component in our communications. In order to maintain this consistency, a few simple guidelines should be followed. Take care when placing the logo close to graphic elements. Refer to the measurements shown here for the amount of clear space required around the

logo. X = minimum clear space measure Clear space frames the logo, separating it from other elements such as headlines, text, images, and the outside edge of printed materials. Clear space exceptions may be based on specific application requirements but require the prior approval of the marketing department.

Note: Other company trademarks may appear on merchandise produced by vendors specifically licensed to reproduce these trademarks.

1. The primary color option for our logo is Cyan. It is intended to be used on lighter backgrounds and images in order to maintain legibility.

PRIMARY COLOR PALETTE Color is the most recognizable aspect of our brand. Colors were selected that reflect our bold, friendly and innovative values that reflect their inspiration. Using color appropriately is one of the easiest ways to make sure our materials reflect a cohesiveimage of our brand and message.

It is important to maintain a sense of hierarchy, balance and harmony when using this color palette. Our color system is flexible and simple, but exercise restraint.

Unique and exciting color palettes can be created from as few as three or four colors in addition to the primary palette. The following page breaks down the entire palette to show how color combinations can be used

successfully. Each is different but still maintains the character and emotion that. Use the vertical column as a reference to the ratios of each color. This isn’t meant to be a precise mathematical system but is intended to give an idea of relative use with different media outlets.

It is also important to note that the primary palette plays a role in each sub-palette, even if it’s a minimal one.
