Adverbs regular and irregular

Regular adverbs: the adverb is made from the adjective ADJECTIVE ADVERB Prompt promptly (+ ly) dry dryly (+ly) ready readily (-y +ily) sensible sensibly (-e +ly) ex. He is a quick learner. He learns quickly.

Irregular adverbs:adjective and adverb are the same ADJECTIVE ADVERB hard hard late late fast fast straight straight early early ex. He is a fast driver.

He drives very fast.
