ACADEMIC WORK
SHADED THRESHOLDS LINEAR COMMONS INTERSECTING FRONTS SUBMERGED LIGHT VERTICAL MODULES PROFESSIONAL WORK

A dining environment that integrates traditional Japanese architectural elements with local contextual responses. The plan centers on an inward-facing layout, with private dining rooms arranged around a courtyard to ensure privacy and tranquility. Material selection and structural rhythm draw from vernacular Japanese precedents. The project balances cultural specificity and regional adaptation, producing an atmosphere of refined intimacy and spatial restraint.

EXPLODED

A school campus organized along a central linear spine, where an overhead arcade skylight connects administrative, academic, and recreational spaces. Large programmatic elements extend into lateral wings, ensuring intuitive circulation and access to natural light. The design fosters collective movement and visual continuity across educational zones, supporting student engagement through spatial coherence and openness.

INTERSECTING FRONTS DAMMAM, SAUDI ARABIA COMMERCIAL

A retail and commercial center that reimagines the traditional souq through intersecting linear masses and a clear spatial hierarchy. The layout separates retail and service functions while maintaining connectivity across shared courtyards. The project addresses urban density and commercial accessibility by creating a legible, walkable layout tailored to contemporary market needs within a regional context.

SUBMERGED LIGHT DAMMAM, SAUDI ARABIA MOSQUE
A contemporary mosque design that submerges the prayer hall below grade to create a quiet, immersive environment. Influenced by regional reinterpretations of sacred space, the intervention minimizes above-ground impact while enhancing spatial depth and acoustic isolation. Landscape and roofscape elements integrate the mosque with its surroundings. The design emphasizes spiritual focus through sectional clarity and spatial humility.

VERTICAL MODULES
RESIDENTIAL
A modular high-rise composed of three distinct volumes: two for residential units and a central spine for services and shared amenities. Each unit is vertically arranged to maximize views and internal efficiency. The design investigates repetition, flexibility, and urban density through a stacked organizational system. It prioritizes resident experience while offering an adaptable solution for contemporary housing needs.

A multi-unit residential project designed to accommodate four families within a unified architectural composition. Initial studies compared apartment and row house typologies, with the latter selected for its private entrances, outdoor spaces, and increased built area. Internal courtyards enhance light and ventilation. The design supports family connection while providing fully independent homes that prioritize livability, spatial equity, and contextual coherence.
