A proposed project between the NW ProgressoFlagler Heights CRA and Broward County Cultural Division to elevate further the Destination Sistrunk Cultural Heritage initiative capacity building that provides residents within the Destination Sistrunk Program Area which includes the CRA and portions of Broward Municipal Services District.

Flow inspired by finding moments of happiness through color in the darkness. I created this collection of art while witnessing my dad suffering from mental suffering of dementia and aphasia in his final years.
I tried to seek happiness by creating playful and colorful art to bring peace and positivity into my space. It inspired a collection with texture, movement, and reflection of light through foil. Bring light onto your space with Ally Bee’s tableware, furniture, and art.

Inspired by the tunes, adventures, and wisdom I learned from Dad. I gained resilience, bravery, and a great respect for time while caretaking for my dad and future grandfather-in-law while they suffered from Alzheimer’s, dementia, and aphasia diseases
While silently suffering I did too, slowly watching my best friend fade and shrink over decades as his memories, skills, and ability to communicate verbally faded. Until the final weeks, we still danced to our favorite songs. I’m grateful for the memories captured and will think of you daily, forever. I wish I could smoke a cigar and raise a glass to you.
My dad, the medical cowboy, a true gift to our human race. I hope to make you proud and continue your legacy by designing with art therapy in spaces to lift spirits and create brands through stories of greatness, resilience, and hope. Thank you for being my friend and hero.

Ally Bee’s Studio
Ally Bee has always been a creative at heart, designing art, clay, dance, and furniture as a child, always favoring LEGOs over dolls. Inspired by her creative Nana Bee, who taught her how to cook, bake, and draw—a woman of strength and wisdom who often reminded her that “practice makes perfect,” a phrase she has since rebranded into “practice makes progress.”
Ally Bee founded Ally Bee Design the summer before her senior year of college. She designs brand logos, promotional materials, and websites to promote businesses. As an artist, she paints textured artwork with acrylics and designs graphics for print on products.
A Fort Lauderdale native, Ally Bee’s style is inspired by the sun, ocean, and flow of the Venice of America. Educated at University of Miami and Pine Crest School, she built a strong foundation in design, art, communications, and entrepreneurship. Early in her career, she worked in several small businesses’ marketing departments in architecture, fashion, and furniture design industries.
