KICKBACK

WARNING Kickback can lead to dangerous loss of control of the Power PrunerTM and result in serious injury to the operator or any one standing close by. Kickback may occur when the moving saw chain at the nose or tip of WKH JXLGH EDU WRXFKHV DQ REMHFW RU ZKHQ WKH ZRRG FORVHV LQ DQG SLQFKHV the saw chain in the cut. Guide Bar Replacement / Installation Level 2

Remove two (2) guide bar nuts (A) and unscrew sprocket cover screw(B).

Remove sprocket cover (D).

3.

Remove guide bar and saw chain from gear case and sprocket.

Remove chain from guide bar and check guide bar for damage and excessive or uneven wear. Replace guide bar if necessary.

7. A. Allow engine to cool then remove the spark plug DQG SRXU FF R] RI IUHVK FOHDQ WZR VWURNH engine oil into the cylinder through the spark plug hole.

B. Pull the recoil starter handle 2-3 times to distribute the oil inside the engine.

C. Observe the piston location through the spark plug hole. Pull the recoil starter handle slowly until the piston reaches the top of its travel and leave it there.

4. Perform all periodic lubrication and services that are required.

Install the spark plug (do not connect spark plug cable).

5. Tighten all the screws and nuts.

9.

Install the guide bar cover on the guide bar and saw chain during storage.

6. Drain fuel tank completely. Press purge bulb 6 -7 times to remove remaining fuel from carburetor then GUDLQ WKH WDQN DJDLQ &ORVH FKRNH VWDUW DQG UXQ WKH engine until it stops due to lack of fuel.
