State Police Investigating Note At CCS COOPERSTOWN

S

tate police are looking for the perpetrator of a “non-specific” threat found in a note outside the Cooperstown Junior/Senior High School library the day before Thanksgiving. The note prompted a search of school grounds that turned up no evidence of any danger, and Superintendent of Schools C.J. Hebert wrote parents, “We do not believe the safety of our students or staff is in jeopardy.” A bomb threat is a class E felony that can bring up to a year in jail. Anyone with information is asked to call the state police anonymous tip line, 547-4049. TOP DOCS: Bassett physicians Donald A. Raddatz, Steven D. Resnick and William J. Richtsmeier have been selected for inclusion in the Best Doctors in America 2015 database, the hospital announced.
