ssemblyman Bill Magee, D-Nelson, brought news Friday, Nov. 6, that $2 million in state aid will be coming to Cooperstown for a mandated upgrade to the wastewater treatment plant south of the village. At Magee’s announcement in Village Hall, Mayor Jeff Katz noted that, with another grant expected from state Sen. wo days after Village Treasurer Derek Bloomfield expressed a contrary view to the Village Board on whether to divest fossil-fuel stocks, a memo was placed in his file advising him to move forward with dispatch in carrying out the trustees’ will. While the trustees themselves declined to provide
