In-County Candidate To Reprise It’s Buttermann v. Salka By JIM KEVLIN ONEONTA
A
Hamilton farmer, Corey Mosher, has announced a challenge to freshman Assemblyman John Salka, R-Brookfield, in the 121st District next year, but local Democrats say they expect Otsego County will have a candidate of its own. It seems Dan Buttermann will run again. Buttermann lost narrowly – 1,158 to 1,203 – in 2017 to then-Assemblyman Bill Magee, D-Nelson, in the Democratic primary. Magee then lost to Salka. “Dan’s definitely running at this point,” said Richard Sternberg, the Cooperstown village Please See ASSEMBLY, B5
