Roadwork May Be Completed By Week’s End COOPERSTOWN
T
he $1 million Chestnut-Walnut reconstruction and repaving should be complete in the next several days, according to Mayor Jeff Katz. Project, which has clogged traffic in and out of the village throughout the summer, replaced deteriorating water and sewer lines, and separate storm sewers from sanitary sewers. M
ark Winther wasn’t even much of a beer drinker three years ago when he clicked into a Discovery Channel show about home brewing. A physician – he’s emer-
gency services director at Bassett’s Little Falls Hospital – he was fascinated by the interaction of chemistry and biology.
