s of July 1, the Bassett Healthcare Network will have a new top executive for the first time in almost 30 years: Dr. Vance Brown, chief medical officer at the $2 billion MaineHealth system, based in Portland, will succeed Dr. William F. Streck, Dr. Brown Bassett president/CEO since 1985, on July 1.
