his Christmas for the first time, SUNY Oneonta police hosted what it plans as an annual “Cop Shop,” distributing gifts Tuesday, Dec. 22, to 40 needy children, ages 3-5. “Our goal is to help make things a little easier for these families this holiday season,” said Officer Denise Natoli. Sgt. Jonathan Nichols and wife Shelly organized the collection, underwritten by ACCO in Sidney, Sal’s Pizzeria, Joe Ruffino’s Pizzeria, Price Chopper, American Mobile Dental, and many community members and University officers. MORE PROOF: Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine has named SUNY Oneonta 191st on its list of the Top 300 Best College Values of 2016. The rankings, released Dec. 16, also include the Oneonta college on its 100 Best Values in Public Colleges list for the 10th consecutive year.
