he Baseball Hall of Fame kicks off its season with a whole day of baseball festivities, starting at noon Saturday, May 25, when the 10th Mountain Division Band & Color Guard lead a parade down Main Street. Afterwards, head over to Doubleday Field for the 1 p.m. Hitting Contest, followed by the “Legends of Baseball” game at 2 p.m., where you can watch Hall of Famers Rollie Fingers, Goose Gossage, Rickey Henderson and Phil Niekro play. pend a little time with the Rev. Sundar Samuel, you would likely conclude he is a level-headed, reflective man of the cloth. It’s unlikely you would suspect that, for 10 years, he was one of the top bowlers on one of the top cricket teams in India, where cricket is what baseball is here.
