EDITION OF MARCH 26-27: Daniel Boecke, an employee at Munson’s True Value, ordered lunch from Brooks House of BBQ and had it delivered by Alyssa Ely-Rose. Brooks had planned to make the switch to delivery prior to the pandemic, but moved the timeline up when restaurants had to shut down. By year’s end, restaurateur Ryan Brooks had completely rethought the Oneonta landmark, shifting to a takeout model, converting the restaurant into tables and seating for takeout customers, and serving wine and beer for the first time in its history.
