COMMUNITY IMPACT REPORT 2023

LETTER FROM CEO

I’m pleased to share Allied Solutions’ inaugural Community Impact Report. Our IMPACT in the communities where we live and work is driven by our corporate Blue Culture values –innovation, mindfulness, passion, achievement, community and teamwork.

Allied has always been very active in the community, but with the launch of a new community engagement strategy, we now have the infrastructure in place to measure our impact, engage our employees and grow our partnerships. Our employees came together with a renewed passion and commitment to making a difference in our communities.

And boy did we ever! By serving on committees, donating to food and supply drives, participating in group volunteer events, and utilizing volunteer time off, our employees exemplified our values and the impact stretched far beyond Allied’s office walls.

We hope that our commitment to Blue Culture makes each employee proud to be a part of the Allied Solutions team. The results featured in this report would not be possible without the efforts of Allied employees doing their part to realize our company’s vision for what we can achieve together.

Onward!

It’s been a big year for making an impact at Allied! Following research, evaluation, talking with employees and building a governance structure, we launched our community engagement strategy in January 2023.

The activities and accomplishments outlined in this report illustrate the results of our efforts and lay the foundation upon which we will build in the years to come.

Why Is a Strategy Important?

Establishing a strategy for giving back to the communities where we live and work allows us to amplify and grow our impact while giving our employees a larger voice in our work.

One aspect of our strategy was identifying and committing to four key community priorities that reflect our legacy and future. These have become the lens through which we evaluate community partnerships and measure our impact. Our focus from charitable giving to employee engagement activities has been centered around these priorities. Learn more about our priorities on page 6.

Thank you to all of our employees for demonstrating our Blue Culture in the community. We’re featuring employees who went above and beyond this year to make an impact.

Andrew Jordan | Onboarding Program Manager, Carmel Office

Andrew volunteered more than 23 hours in 2023, primarily supporting the Emily Thomas Foundation Golf Outing, which raised more than $180,000. Andrew also participated in the United Way campaign and donated blood with Versiti Blood Center of Indiana. In his personal time, Andrew volunteers at Flight1 and Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos, organizations that support youth.

ā€œVolunteering in my community along with other communities is important to me and my family, because there are so many people in need and there are endless opportunities out there. I really enjoy when I see the positive impact that is being made for others.ā€

Jenni Schiefelbein | Business Platform Owner, Remote Employee

Working remotely from her home base in Minnesota, Jenni has been with Allied Solutions for eight years. In September, Jenni volunteered at Frogtown Farm in St. Paul, where the group harvested 65 pounds of Aronia berries to be donated to local food providers. She also served on the United Way campaign committee and currently serves on the Culture and Change Network.

ā€œI feel very passionate about helping people; it’s part of why I enjoy working in technology and getting to find solutions to make work easier for users. Volunteering provides a tangible gratification that I may not always get in my day-to-day role and allows me to provide support to individuals that have devoted so much to improving the lives of others. I also think it is important to model for my son that we can help in many ways, big or small, and still make a difference.ā€

10 COMMUNITY IMPACT REPORT

Sandy McClure | Receptionist, Dakota Dunes Office

Sandy McClure has been with Allied Solutions for 18 years and exemplifies our values in the Dakota Dunes community. This year she volunteered with the Boys and Girls Home and the Food Bank of Siouxland. She spends personal time volunteering with the Salvation Army and organizes a holiday food donation for the Dakota Dunes office.

ā€œI volunteer because it helps the community, and I feel that I can make a difference in someone’s life. I feel good when I can help out and give my time to those in need. It’s the small things in life that I think can make a big difference.ā€

Angelo Marchese | Director, Product and Vendor, Risk and Recovery Products and Temporary Director, Mortgage Operations, Plano Office

Recently celebrating his one-year anniversary with Allied Solutions, Angelo got right to work making an impact in the Plano community. He volunteered at City House and represented Allied at their organization’s annual gala in support of homeless youth in the Plano area. He also attended the H.E.R.O.E.S (Helping Everyone Reach Outstanding Educational Success) fundraising gala, supporting dedicated programs for individuals with disabilities. Angelo volunteers outside of work at CHOICE (Consider How One Individual Changes Everything), where he mentors underserved students living in poverty as they strive toward a brighter future.

ā€œRepresenting Allied’s values alongside my own though volunteering is more than an opportunity; it’s a chance to weave the fabric of my personal values into the tapestry of our collective efforts, creating a stronger, more compassionate community in the process. So proud to be part of Allied!ā€

COMMUNITY PARTNER PROFILES

Allied works with numerous nonprofits in communities where we have office locations as well as national and regional partners. These partners help us expand our impact and continue building vibrant communities where all are welcome, supported and valued. Spotlighted below are some of our current national partners.

American Red Cross Financial Stability & Honoring Heroes

Our partnership with the American Red Cross supports the organization’s mission to respond to the most urgent needs from home fires to natural disasters. With increasingly frequent climate crisisrelated disasters, returning service members and the need for safety training and preparation, the American Red Cross has the infrastructure and expertise to help keep our communities and neighbors safe and supported. Our partnership with the Red Cross enables Allied employees nationwide to engage with their local chapters for volunteer opportunities and local activities.

Children’s Miracle Network Youth Health, Wellness & Mentorship

We established a national partnership with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals this year. With 170 member hospitals providing treatment to 12 million pediatric patients annually, member hospitals of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals are at the forefront of providing healthcare services, advancing innovative research, offering financial assistance to families seeking treatment, and so much more. We specifically support the Miracle Network Dance Marathon program that activates the next generation of community and philanthropic leaders.

Under the leadership of Campaign Chair John Denison and Co-Chair Kevin Spence, we provided support for 60 United Way chapters across the country.

REPRESENTING EMPLOYEES

In 2023, we formed the Community Engagement Committee to incorporate more employee voices into the community engagement process. Committee members offer community insights, assist in volunteer activity logistics and recommend partnerships and grants. Thank you to our committee members, representing employees at all office locations and those who work remotely, for volunteering their time.

I am pleased that Allied has care and compassion for the communities in which we operate. Allied has demonstrated that giving to those in need is important and that resonates with my personal values. I have been involved in volunteer work my entire adult life and am glad to participate on the Community Engagement Committee to help plan Allied’s giving for the future. My hope is that the experience I have working directly with provider organizations can benefit the committee’s important work.

14 COMMUNITY IMPACT REPORT

I joined the Community Engagement Committee for two reasons; one to help me get myself out of my shell, as I have a tendency to let my shyness overtake me and get myself and my colleagues involved in volunteering in our community.

I am hoping to talk with others in the South Bend office to gather what interests we have and how we as a group can find ways to help our community.

In the wake of the pandemic and shift to virtual interactions in the corporate sphere, human connection within our immediate community feels more important than ever. Being on the Community Engagement Committee fulfills that innate desire to understand, connect, support, and build with those around you - and I am honored to be a part of that through Allied’s commitment to outreach and service.

The Community Engagement Committee is one of three ways that employees can participate in shaping engagement activities at Allied. The Culture and Change Network and the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Council are additional committees that strive to enhance Allied’s culture by continuing to build an inclusive environment for employees.
