Welcome to Allerdale Days in Manchester – an event designed to get your business and products promoted into the heart of Northern England’s premier city.

The idea came about some years ago. I was travelling back from London having spent the day with MPs and their staff promoting all the great things about Allerdale as part of the annual Cumbria Day celebrations. I wondered, however, how best to do such an event for everyone - to take Allerdale, its businesses and attractions, to a major city and lavish it with what makes our area special and a great place not only to do business but also to live and visit.

And now, with the help of CN Events and yourselves, we are making this a reality.

Join us in August 2018 to promote your business and our area. You will have the opportunity to make contact with local business and political leaders, and of course sell your products to a new and wider market.

I am so proud of Allerdale. With our hi-tech manufacturing businesses, our towns, each with their unique identities, and our fabulous countryside and attractions – both on the coast and in the Lakes – we are a world-beating area. Not many places can boast two World Heritage Sites in such a small area alongside an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

We really have got it all!

So, join us to help get our voice heard, and take Allerdale to Manchester.

The Event CN Events are proud to be working on behalf of Allerdale Borough Council to deliver this exciting project to Manchester, the leading city in Northern England and the Northern Powerhouse. The event will showcase Allerdale as a fantastic place to live, work and visit.

The event will take place in Albert Square on the 10th and 11th August; a location that plays host to many events throughout the year and has excellent natural footfall.

The vision for Allerdale Days in Manchester is to produce an interactive showcase of the businesses, industries, producers, educational institutions, tourist attractions and towns that make the region so unique.

Allerdale Borough Council are contributing toward the costs to ensure that the event is accessible to everyone, but we need YOU and your business to provide exciting and innovative content to get visitors as excited about Allerdale as we are. No idea is too big or too small, from science experiments to mountain biking.

You are also welcome to sell your product, service or experience at the event, or simply use the opportunity to promote your business/organisation.

Alongside your exhibition stand will be a beer festival with live music, a food market using Allerdale based producers and much more.

We are also hosting a VIP reception on the evening of Thursday 9th to launch the event.

All exhibitors are invited to attend, where there will be an opportunity to network with key Manchester businesses as well as other Allerdale exhibitors.

What will it cost?

We want the event to be accessible to everyone therefore we will provide pitches at the following reduced rates.

• Businesses with less than 10 employees £50 + VAT • Businesses with more than 10 employees £100 + VAT If you would like to make use of a 3m x 3m gazebo, this will be provided at no extra cost as will an electrical hook up.

Sponsorship If you are interested in sponsoring the event, we will create a bespoke package that suits your business needs.

We won’t be limiting pitch sizes to accommodate those who want to provide a more hands on, interactive exhibit, however please contact the event manager to discuss.
