Use Allen Edmonds Conditioner/Cleaner to remove surface residue and to keep leather soft and pliable. To achieve a fine luster, wipe shoes with a damp cloth and allow them to dry at room temperature. Then, apply a coat of Allen Edmonds Shoe Cream or Polish with a cloth or horsehair dauber and allow to air dry. Remove excess polish by brushing with a horsehair shine brush and buff to a desired shine.

Burnished Calfskin
To remove the slight haze you may notice with a new pair of burnished calfskin shoes, wipe them with a soft cloth or brush with a horsehair shine brush. Clean regularly with a damp cloth and allow them to air dry. Then, using a soft cloth, apply a medium coat of Allen Edmonds Shoe Polish in the appropriate color and allow to air dry. Brush with a horsehair shine brush to remove excess polish and buff using a soft, cotton flannel cloth.

Apply Allen Edmonds Conditioner/Cleaner to remove any residue and to restore leather’s natural softness and durability. To achieve maximum shine, polish with Allen Edmonds Shoe Cream or Polish in a matching color and allow to air dry. Remove excess polish and wax by brushing with a horsehair shine brush, then buff to a desired finish.

Apply Allen Edmonds Aqua-Care Shoe Cream using a soft cloth and allow to air dry. The leather is lightened or darkened according to wear. If shoe has contrast stitching, Leather Lotion is recommended.

Waxed & Grain Leathers
Waxed, glove and grain leathers can be cleaned using a damp cloth to remove dirt and any residue. Using a soft cloth, apply Allen Edmonds Leather Lotion, which has been specially formulated for these leathers. Allow shoes to completely air dry. Buff waxed leathers gently with a soft cloth to bring out their shine.
