Ivy Rehab of Allendale is excited to announce the move of its location to the Presley Parkway building on Lake Michigan Drive. With a new location that will be over double the size of the current one. Ivy Rehab is supporting the All In Allendale community by creating a fantastic new space for people of all ages to enjoy!
Ivy Rehab currently o ers physical therapy with or without a physician referral and participates with most insurances, o ering a ordable self-rate options. Ivy Rehab's therapists specialize in pelvic health for men and women, vestibular and concussion care, TMJ issues, running video analysis, and return to sport.
The new Ivy Rehab clinic will provide a more comfortable and e cient working environment for both the Ivy Rehab team and clients alike! The expansion to the 2,800 square foot space will allow Ivy Rehab to add additional private treatment rooms, a larger gym, and more meeting space for the Ivy team - giving both physical therapists and clients more space and privacy.
"Being respectful of an individual's personalized care means providing a safe space for what they need," says Terri Jeurink, MPT, Clinic Director of the Allendale location and experienced physical therapist. “This expansion will allow us to serve more clients while still providing each of them with the highest quality of care.” This expanded location will also allow for a greater range of treatments - such as in the return to sport and return to work programming that they already o er.
The dedicated Ivy team values the pride and enthusiasm they have for their work, putting the community and their clients first, so having this space will help them provide the care that meets their standards. The Ivy team loves what they do, and more than anything they want to stay active in their community. Therefore, the new clinic will help them positively impact Allendale by providing greater access to their physical therapy programs!
The Same Free "Walking Fit" Program You Know & Love!
Good news! Ivy Rehab's free Walking Fit program will continue on at the new location. If you haven't heard, the Ivy Rehab Walking Fit program has been successfully active for two years, providing a great opportunity for community members to get some exercise while also socializing and enjoying the outdoors.
Each week, participants meet on Tuesdays at 5:30 PM at Ivy Rehab to walk. The Walking Fit program begins with instructions for a 5-minute dynamic warmup, a 45-minute walk, and then post-walking cooldown stretching. During the workout, participants can chat, get to know each other, and take in the local scenery.
Along with the expansion, Ivy Rehab hopes to increase their group of walkers, so Walking Fit participants will have the opportunity to meet and exercise in a new place! "Building a bigger connection of walkers would provide more opportunities for future group activities," says Terri, "Like completing a 5K walk together, adding another walking location, and fostering an environment of positivity, fitness, and wellness." Walking is a great way to stay fit and healthy, and the Walking Fit program makes exercise easy and enjoyable. Whether you are a long-time Walking Fit participant, or brand new to the program, this is a great way to get involved with the All In Allendale community. Everyone is welcome, so socialize, take in the fresh air, and resource the Ivy Rehab team for any questions!
Check out their Facebook page, call the clinic at 616-965-6540, or email Terri at terri.jeurink@ivyrehab.com for specific questions about Walking Fit!
Ivy Rehab's move is estimated to occur sometime in the Spring of 2023. Until then, you can continue to find them at their current Allendale location. Keep an eye out for more updates moving forward, and get excited with us about the big move! Once more, congratulations to Ivy Rehab and its expansion to its new location!
