Beauty, light, and mixed materials surround us in the natural world. Through thoughtful design choices, we can capture the beauty in the world around us and increase the sense of belonging in those who occupy our workspace.

Dear Eaton Team,

On behalf of Interior Elements, I would like to thank you for considering us as your furniture provider. We believe in a listen-first mindset and have enjoyed learning about Eaton’s needs and goals through Redline so that, together, we can build spaces that support your business aims.

Between our product and customer commitment, we are confident that you will find us an excellent collaborator. After all, we have the ability not only to implement an all-encompassing furniture solution, but also to drive measurable results and mitigate risks. Furthermore, we add value by continuously looking to innovate all processes, lending fresh eyes at the strategic level and in day-to-day operations.

With our industry’s most well-respected talent and our leadership’s dedication to your business, we’ve established the ideal team: a well-rounded group of creative, positive-minded individuals who constantly challenge each other—and our entire organization—to be the outstanding partner you and your customers deserve.

Warm Regards,

ENTRY Pride

While hard data is thin, design & furniture in reception areas influence perceptions of company culture, prestige, and employee pride, which indirectly tie to retention. Some design studies show aesthetics, comfort, light etc. affect mood, psychological perception.

WORKSTATIONS

15%

Washington State Department of Labor & Industries: Up to 15% increase in productivity when ergonomic seating or furniture is introduced.

CONFERENCE ROOMS 35%

A 2021 Cornell University study found the probability of a meeting being productive increased by 35% for each standard deviation increase in psychological safety experienced.

TRAINING 16%

Barrett, Zhang, Davies & Barrett (2015) found that training room design accounted for around 16% of the variation in learning & retention rates in their study of ~3,700 individuals.

BREAK ROOM Retention

Not many specific large studies isolate break room/furniture alone, but in several workplace design surveys, amenity / social / break-out spaces are among top features employees cite as affecting satisfaction and retention.

PRIVATE OFFICE

In multiple studies, people in private/enclosed offices report higher satisfaction ratings with their workspaces (on things like noise/privacy, environment, comfort) compared to those in open-plan spaces. Very roughly, “about one point higher on a seven-point satisfaction scale.”
