We had a record turnout of runners and fielders for the 2005 Track team. With Central Park as our training ground, we had many challenging workouts, and the team prevailed.

Varsity Football ? Fall 2005

The Varsity Football team continued to battle its way through the season, making good strides with both our offensive and defensive plays. With a solid core of 7th graders, returning 8th graders and our upcoming 6th graders, we hope to field an even more successful team next year.

6th Grade Football ? Fall 2005

Team roster: Chris Echevarria, Hunter Erensel, Jesse Fastenberg, Joseph Fields, Dylan Fowler, John Hersey, Derrick Holman, Samuel Javit, Adam Kotin, Stephen Lipton, Daniel Locker, Dimitri Mortsakis, Nicholas O’Mara, Owen Rosenberg, Matthew Schwimmer, Malik Simon, Benjamin Straus, Alexander Tomashoff, Skyler Wasser, Harry Whitney,Coach Dransfield, Coach Cerrone. This year’s 6th grade football team focused on developing the basic skills of the game and an overall understanding of offensive and defensive strategies. The boys did a great job learning the game and understanding the importance of playing as a team.

Team roster: Jonathan Beckles, Jacob Caplan, William Chouraqui, Alex Corwin, Harry Frank, Paxton Hansard, Eric Kotin, Taylor Lane, Eric Rosas, Alessandro Santoro, Eric Schwartz, William Stark, Ian Valentine, Brady Williams, Coach Wiseman The 2005 Varsity Soccer team worked hard to be fundamentally sound in all aspects of their game. Throughout the season, the boys worked at improving their individual offensive skills such as dribbling, trapping, heading, and passing.

Soccer enjoyed a fine season. The boys participated in practice and in games with wonderful enthusiasm and a desire to learn. They competed admirably in every game and represented A-S in very fine fashion.

6th Grade Soccer ? Fall 2005

Coach Roth The boys did a great job working on individual and team skills, attacking and defending concepts, and soccer related fitness.
