Varsity Lacrosse ? Spring 2005

Team roster: Alec Barnett, Jonathon Beckles, Mark Blemenfeld, Alexander Chouraqui, Adam Donaldson, Pearce Erensel, Alexander Klaris, Jonathan Kostakopoulos, Ben Loveman, Michael Maloney, Tyler Reiss, Matthew Schroth, Leo Sloan, Grant Tomashoff, Jonathan Tomashoff, Harry Tucker, George Van Dercook, Brady Williams, Coach Dransfield, Coach Rana. The 2005 Varsity Lacrosse team had another successful season last spring. The team played very well and accomplished more than just a winning season. Our record was seven wins, two losses, and we played for a league championship. Our biggest highlight, as a team, was having the opportunity to compete and showcase the team’s best efforts.

Team roster: Keith Babus, Mike Bass, Taylor Bennett, Alex Bicks, Mark Boltres, William Chouraqui, Alex Corwin, Hunter Erensel, Will Evangelakos, Dylan Fowler, Harry Frank, Taylor Lane, Louis Lecole, Stephen Lipton, Daniel Locker, Henry Neely, Nick O’Mara, Malcolm Phelan, Owen Rosenberg, Adam Silverman, Evan Solomon, Ben Strauss, Coach Rodriguez, Coach Nicolas The 5th and 6th grade Lacrosse team had a challenging season. Nonetheless, they progressed very well. They were able to raise the bar of their performance by listening to their coach during some difficult games. The players clearly improved their basic skills, and last year’s 6th graders are now ready to move up to the Junior Varsity level.

Varsity Baseball ? Spring 2005

Team roster: David Asser, Justin Beers, Lee Eames, Peter Eames, Ethan Fischbein, Leigh Fischbein, Brad Fishel, Aaron Halfon, Eric Kotin, Joshua Kronfeld, Jason Saltiel, Matthew Sprayregan, Coach Seeback, Coach Cerrone. The team had a positive attitude and battled through some tough loses. We also had some bright spots and exciting moments during our league play. Fantastic defensive plays and good pitching kept us in games during the early innings. With many returning players and the addition of some new exciting Upper School players, we are encouraged about our chances in this year’s league play.

Junior Varsity Baseball ? Spring 2005

Team roster: Jake Cohen, Soami Cohly, Daniel Demarse, Jamie Elish, Nick Herbst, Matthew Joseloff, Jake Lang, Alex Lamport, Jon McMeyers, Michael Restrepo, David Rohn, Andrew Rousso, Enrique Smith, Coach Zufall. This was a very fine group of young men who came to practice each day to work hard and have fun. We competed very well in our league play and I am proud of their effort. I look forward to another exciting season this school year.

6th Grade Baseball ? Spring 2005

Team roster: Joseph Abadi, Basil Anderson, Derrick Asser, Alex Bergsma, Peter Bozian, Jacob Caplan, Sammy Fischer, Elliot Frank, Carter Glatt, Peter Lawson, Jake Lesser, Michael Salik, Greg Salwen, Alex Tomashoff, Alex Weiss, Coach Venezia This squad had a balance of speed and power. They had back-to-back wins over Dalton in the middle of the season and finished with impressive games against St. Bernard’s. I look forward to seeing their success on the Upper School teams.
