Dragonfly

Animal blooming - Libellair The shape of LIBELLAIR is an evolution of the overall shape of the dragonfly, in particular highlighting the feature of the body where each little part can move independently and the wings that move and create waves of air.

1. The body of the dragonfly has been elongated and slightly enlarged.

2. The wings part of the dragonfly have been rotated to resamble a fan shape.

3. The main body volume has been transformed in a more regular circular shape.

4. The Libellair main body has been attached on a clip that can make the fan stand or be attached to surfaces. The fan blades have also been made more aerodinamic.

LIBELLAIR

Libellair is a portable rechargeable fan that can accompany the user i the hottest day to ensure comfort and versatility. Libellair can stand on any surface or be attached to one with a clamp that is at the base of the object. The stem of the fan can be modified in shape thanks to the metal ball joints it is built with. The Fan at the top resembles the shape of the dragonfly’s wings and it moves a lot of air silently like the dragonfly does when it flies.

Details

The stem

The stem’s can be flexed and modified by the user thanks to the ball joints mechanism. The stem embodies the capacity of the dragonfly to bend its body in smooth curves.

Fan blades

The fan blades are shaped like the dragonflies wings and they are also given an inclination so they can move more air when in motion.

The Cellular texture was applied to blades to create an effect similar to the detailed pattern of the dragonflies wings.
