Miami Artists Take Center Stage at Miami’s Home Design and Remodeling Show, Miami Beach

Miami, FL…January 26, 2015…Miami artists take center stage at this year’s Home Design and Remodeling Show to be held from March 27-30, 2015 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. At Home with Art – Spotlight on Miami’s Art Districts will be a showcase of 20+ established artists working in one of Miami’s vibrant art districts. “This is not your average art exhibit or fair,” comments Sharon Berube, spokesperson for the Home Design and Remodeling Show. “We are building a bridge between the collector and the artist. Choosing the perfect work of art for the home or office begins with a connection to the artist. Visit the artist’s studio, get to know him/her, and gain an understanding of the art you choose. In a big way, we are saying: Great art can be found close to home, all year long!" Each of Miami’s art districts will occupy a separate booth, but be grouped together to make a large exhibition area. Visitors can explore 7 curated district exhibits: North Miami by artists from The Fountainhead Studios - Paolo Ambu, Marco Beria, and Carla Fache; Wynwood Art District – Sandra Garcia-Pardo (ArtLink Gallery), David Gary Lloyd, and Tina Salvesen (Bakehouse Art Complex); Miami Beach – Emanuele Viscuso; Miami Downtown Arts District (MDAD) – Benedicte Blanc-Fontenille (McCormick Place); Adriana Carvalho (Artisan Lounge); Rafael Consuegra (MDAD), Cesar Rey (Aluna Art Foundation) and curated by David Zalben (Pink Bastard); Little Havana/Viernes Culturales - Agustin Gainza, Santos Mendez and Katey Penner (Futurama); Bird Road Art District - Jane Harris, Sandra Levy, MANO, Miguel Rodez, and Gabriel Saldivia (White’s Art Gallery); and South Miami – Klara Chavarria of Coral Gables, and Gerry Stecca, resident artist at Deering Estate.
