White Screen Test
Purpose:
The White Screen Test is designed to help users check for uniformity issues and dead pixels on their monitor. A uniform white screen allows for the easy identification of any color tint or shadow problems, as well as dead pixels, which appear as dark or colored spots on the display.
Procedure:
• Open the White Screen Tool on AllColorScreen.
• Full-screen the display to ensure the white covers the entire monitor.

• Note the location of any dead pixels for potential repair or monitor replacement discussions.
Interpreting Results:
• A perfect white screen should be consistently bright and uniform across the entire display. Any spots or irregularities may indicate issues that require further attention.
Black Screen Test
Purpose:
The Black Screen Test is crucial for detecting stuck or ‘hot’ pixels, which are permanently lit (red, green, or blue), and for assessing any backlight bleed, which manifests as light leaking from the edges or corners of the screen.
Procedure:
• Navigate to the Black Screen Tool on AllColorScreen.
• Enter full-screen mode to eliminate distractions and cover the entire area of the monitor.
• Inspect the monitor in a dark room to better see any light leakage or stuck pixels.
• Look for bright spots (stuck pixels) and areas where the black appears unevenly lit (backlight bleed).
Interpreting Results:
• An ideal black screen will show no light or color, indicating no stuck pixels or backlight issues. Any persistent light points or areas indicate problems that might affect viewing experience or screen longevity.
Advanced Monitor Tests
Test Pattern
