Chemical anchor MAPEFIX EP 385/585

Pure epoxy, resin-based chemical anchor for structural loads. Certified for threaded bar, construction bars, core-drilled holes and C1 seismic loads.

TECHNICAL DATA: Suitable substrates: all solid and perforated substrates such as concrete and concrete derivates, brickwork, mixed masonry, wood and rock.

Recommended penetration technique: drill, hammer drill, core drilling, diamond-tipped tools.

Condition of hole for application: clean, dry, damp, wet or immersed underwater.

Workability time at +20°C: 30 mins.

Final hardening time at +20°C: 10 h (dry substrate), 20 h (wet substrate).

MAPEGROUT EASY FLOW One-component, fibre-reinforced, compensated-shrinkage, sulphate-resistant thixotropic mortar, particularly suitable for repairing concrete structures with a rendering machine.

Mapegrout Easy-Flow is used for repairing deteriorated concrete structures. The product is particularly suitable when easy pumping over long distances and too elevated positions is required.

Repairs carried out by spraying on viaduct piles, bearing walls in tunnels, road and railway tunnels,

prefabricated structures, hydraulic works such as canals, dams, spillways and basins and structures deteriorated by the presence of sulphate salts in water or in the ground. In order to guarantee that its expansive properties develop correctly when cured in the open air, adding 0.25% of Mapecure SRA special curing agent to Mapegrout Easy Flow offers a number of advantages. The product may also be used without adding Mapecure SRA, in those cases where the climatic conditions allow for a favourable curing cycle. Mapegrout Easy Flow is usually applied by spray, but may also be applied with a trowel on vertical surfaces without using formwork. The maximum thickness to be applied for each layer is approximately 35 mm.

Mapegrout Easy Flow meets the minimum requirements of EN 1504-3 for class R4 structural mortar.

Consumption 18.5 kg/m² per cm of thickness.

Packaging 25 kg vacuum-packed polyethylene bags; 1500 kg big-bags.

MAPELASTIC GUARD Two-component, elastic cementitious mortar for protecting large concrete structures subjected to high stress.

TECHNICAL DATA: Mixing ratio: 3 parts of MAPELASTIC GUARD comp. A with 1 part of MAPELASTIC GUARD comp. B. Pot life of mix: approximately 1 h (at +20°C).

Minimum applicable thickness: 2 mm per layer.

Classification: EN 1504-2 - coating (C) principles PI, MC and IR. Storage: 12 months (comp. A); 24 months (comp. B).

Application: trowel or by spray with a rendering machine.

Consumption: – approximately 1.7 kg/m² per mm of thickness (by trowel).
