Summer Camp for Grown-ups. A 3 Night Weekend Hosted at The Acres.
There’s a reason why Camp No Counselors calls The Acres our flagship camp. This exclusive, nature-inspired venue spans over 400 acres of woodland, offering an endless playground for adventure. In the summer, The Acres hosts Camp IHC, one of the world’s top-rated overnight camps. Many of their experienced counselors stay on to help run our adult camp events, ensuring that, despite the name, we have an incredible team to deliver an unforgettable experience. With modern cabins, a heated pool, and premium food and drink options, the little luxuries we offer will make you feel right at home in the great outdoors.
The Lodge is the main dining room where everyone eats meals together. With a coffee bar, breakfast bar and lounge space, it’s a versatile building. The outdoor balcony provides additional seating and overlooks our flagpole area with artificial grass and lawn games.
The Pavilion is our outdoor social space in front of the Lodge. It overlooks the lake and has a central fireplace, firepits, bar and swing chairs. It’s where people meet at night to make s’mores and chat when they need a break from the party.
The Lounge
The Lounge is a small breakout space that isn’t typically used throughout the weekend but can be used if members of the group need to take a work call etc.
The Barn is where we host our nightly socials. This is where the Band and the DJ plays during our themed parties. It overlooks the lake and outside lies picnic tables, solo stoves, fairy lights with an Airstream bar.
The Campfire isn’t used during the regular weekend and we can also use this space to host a small intimate private gathering for your group if the weather is right.
We have 4 brand new Pickleball courts that are open play. They can be used at any time throughout the weekend.
We have 4 indoor and 11 outdoor tennis courts with flood-lights. These are also open play throughout the weekend.
Enjoy our 35 acre spring fed lake with inflatables, waterslides, boating, kayaking, waterskiing, tubing, wakeboarding, stand-up paddleboarding and sailing! It’s open at select times throughout the experience when lifeguards are present.
Our pool area has an 8 lane heated pool, rock climbing wall, volleyball net, sunlounging area with additional shaded seating and an outdoor Tiki bar.
Resort-like hospitality to stay, play and explore.
At our venue we have a variety of modernized cabins to suit every groups needs.
From large dormitory style rooms to semi-private and private rooms. Each cabin is equipped with WiFi, heaters, showers, bathrooms and comfort amenities.
Wake up to crisp mornings overlooking the lake and enjoy beautiful breathtaking golden hours in the evening.
There is something for everyone at our venue. Whether you are athletic, adventurous, artsy or into water activities then we have it all. We build out a program that is balanced and offers a wide variety of options at different times, so your guests can do what they love or try something new, play solo or play as a team. This is a simple sample schedule outlining the timing of events throughout a Camp No Counselors weekend. A more detailed version is available, listing all the activities and experiences in greater depth. Meal times and all-camp activities are set, while areas like the lake, ropes course, and pool have specific hours of operation, as they require qualified staff. We’ve designed the program with plenty of open play opportunities, allowing you to participate in activities at your own pace.
The Olympics, one of the weekend’s highlights, features games like dodgeball, kickball, and volleyball, alongside fun events such as flag making, raft racing, and a lip-sync battle, culminating in a giant relay race. Participation is encouraged but not mandatory, and you can sign up for activities that suit your comfort level. Themed parties are held on the second and third nights, with themes sent out around eight weeks before the event. During the pool party, there are additional open-play activities, and certain experiences, like Tipsy Yoga, Painting & Prosecco, and Ceramics, require sign-up during breakfast due to limited availability.
It’s a 3 hour long event that includes camp activities, lip-sync battles, flag decorating and a relay race that ends with slip n slide flip cup.
One afternoon we host a pool party with music, bar and competitions. The lake inflatables and tubing are also available to use at this time.
The friendship walk is half speedfriending and half tour of camp, we build in ice-breakers along the way to keep it light and fun as we show you around..
