SPECIALISM SUCCESS

In a recent formal review of Enterprise Education at All Hallows, Jane Brooke judged it to be 'outstanding'. This judgement was based on a review of written evidence, student voice, various meetings with Sixth Form Business and CAUK students, staff in college and partners in business and a tour around The College with Y10 students to observe outdoor enterprise. In her feedback report Jane said "Enterprise at All Hallows Catholic College broadens and enriches the curriculum. It offers life skills, wider opportunities, an understanding of the world, a consideration of ethical principles and opportunities for spiritual engagement with God's world. Students progress well in achievement and skills from KS2 to KS5. There are excellent opportunities for students to engage with local businesses and employers. This feedback reinforces The College's recent 'Business Buddy Award' from The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) which recognised its 'inspirational business focused curriculum'. The FSB's Regional Chairman for Greater Manchester and North Cheshire, Simon Edmondson said "All Hallows is doing brilliant work in encouraging youngsters to think and behave like real entrepreneurs... The School is also doing it in a fun and engaging way and it is quite clear to see the business rich curriculum they offer is enjoyed form Year 7 right through to The Sixth Form". He added "All Hallows are doing a great job in encouraging an entrepreneurial mindset in pupils and in providing youngsters with the confidence to take a business idea forward. For this, they are worthy recipients of The Business Buddy Award". All students who were involved in The Review and all those who have been involved in Enterprise over the years at All Hallows are to be congratulated on being outstanding ambassadors for Enterprise Education in The College.

COLLEGE PRAYER

Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ Lord Jesus Christ, you gave us the Eucharist as the memorial of your suffering and death. May our worship of this sacrament of your body and blood help us to experience the salvation you won for us and the peace of the kingdom where you live with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. PARENTS AS PARTNERS

As a Business and Enterprise College we encourage our students to dress in a business like fashion – 'Dress for Success'. For this reason extremes of hair styles and hair colouring are not acceptable. If in doubt about what style's and colours are not acceptable speak to your child's Year Learning Leader. Parents are also reminded that the College has a no makeup policy. Students should not be allowed to wear makeup, nail polish or jewellery during the college day.
