COLLEGE PRAYER
Congratulations to all the Business students involved in The Christmas Fair at the end of last term. KS3 students worked really hard in their Business and Enterprise classes to produce an excellent range of hand -made products as a result of The Stalls Project. Year 12 BTEC Business student made an excellent job of organising the whole event as part of their 'Event Organisation Unit' as well as producing products themselves. Y13 BTEC Business student also used the venue of The Fair to launch The Crisp Hut, a new venture for which they are currently writing a business plan for their 'Business Planning' Unit. With money still coming in, fundraising for the India Clinic Appeal looks likely to exceed £100. KS3 Business and Enterprise students are already planning for The Easter Fair which will be the next major fundraising activity from Business Studies.
A prayer for peace in our world Make your ways known upon earth, Lord God, your saving power among all peoples. Renew your Church in holiness and help us to serve you with joy. Guide the leaders of all nations, that justice may prevail throughout the world. Let not the needy be forgotten, nor the hope of the poor be taken away. Make us instruments of your peace and let your glory be over all the earth. Amen. Prayer focus: Sick and Carers

PARENTS AS PARTNERS:DRESSING FOR WINTER
Parents are asked to ensure that their children are dressed appropriately for winter weather: proper black shoes that cover the whole foot, a black rain jacket that goes over the blazer (embroidered with the College badge for Year 7-9 students) , black, plain College-type scarf and gloves. It is possible to dress both warmly and smartly! PARENTS AS PARTNERS:CAR PARK
The College would like to express sincere gratitude to those parents who collect their children by car in the streets adjacent to the College. This is invaluable in helping the College to avoid grid lock on the bus turning circle at the end of the College day. We would ask the small number of parents who still collect from the turning circle to show their support along with other parents and pick up their children off site.
