May the peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be with you

Congratulations and welcome to the University of Leeds, the next chapter of your lives!

University is a time where you will grow, develop and become a independent individual. It is also a time where you will meet new people and make friends for life. It is an unforgettable experience for all.

University of Leeds Islamic Society is around to provide an environment and experience tailored for the Muslim student. We hope to facilitate a halal experience that is fun, engaging and most of all memorable. The various opportunities we provide will boost your imaan by increasing your Islamic knowledge and good deeds such as charity. This is all in place so that we may please Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. We have produced this freshers‘ booklet so that you can get familiarised with university and the city. We wish you a great time here at Leeds University!
