2022-2023 Financial Information Tuition may be paid annually, semi-annually, quarterly or monthly. Annual expenses for the 2022-2023 school year are:

Tuition - $20,500 General Fee - $2,500 Athletics - $350 (per spor t) *Sibling Discount - 10% for Second Child, 15% for Third Child Please note: tuition and fees are subject to change without prior notice

SCHOL ARSHIPS Merit Scholarships are awarded annually by the Academy of Saint Elizabeth to students based on the following criteria: • Superior scores on Entrance Exam

• Strong character and moral values

• Exceptional performance during the Middle School years

• Demonstrated leadership and involvement in school and community

• Superb personal motivation

FINANCIAL AID Any student who is currently enrolled may apply for financial aid. Any student who has submitted a completed admission application and been accepted may apply. Families seeking financial assistance must file a Financial Aid Application, available through the admissions portal at aosenj.org. The financial aid portal opens October 1, 2022 and closes December 9, 2022. Financial Aid applications are due no later than December 9, 2022. Incomplete applications cannot be processed. Financial aid must be applied for annually.

TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION Families should complete a B6T Transportation Form from the New Jersey State Department of Education to be reimbursed for transportation expenses. Convent Station offers convenient travel and a short scenic walk from the Academy: • West Bound Stations: Hoboken, Newark Broad Street, Oranges, Millburn, Summit, Chatham, and Madison

• East Bound Stations: Dover, Denville, Mount Tabor, Morris Plains, and Morristown

Junior/Senior Parking is available on the premises. 4

Clubs and Organizations AMBASSADORS

E CO LO G Y C LU B

Members promote the Academy in a positive manner by assisting at middle school visits, open houses, and Academy tours. Students must apply for acceptance to this prestigious program.

Spread awareness regarding the current and future conditions the Earth will endure. Members seek to create a more sustainable community which is ecologically conscious.

A RT C LU B Using art for good and for teaching others to do the same. Members contribute to and enhance the art program of the Academy.

A M E R I C A N S I G N L A N G UAG E C LU B ( A S L ) Students explore the basics of American Sign Language and concerns of the deaf/hard of hearing community.

B O O K C LU B Students meet to discuss reading selections, compare thoughts on different authorial styles/intents/approaches and discuss them in the larger text of literature. Members suggest texts, lead discussions and embrace a love of reading for personal enjoyment.

B R I D G E S O U T R E AC H Members participate in service projects to benefit underserved parts of the local community.

C A M P U S M I N I S T RY Members participate as altar servers and readers in masses at the Academy. Campus Ministry helps sustain the mission of the Academy by planning religious retreats, prayer services and liturgies.

C H O I R C LU B Members share their love of singing with the community by providing lively, sacred music performed at Mass and various school events.

D R A M A C LU B / M U S I C A L Students explore the performing arts through a variety of activities. The spring musical allows students to develop performance abilities in musical theater and confidence in their abilities in acting, singing, dance, stagecraft and lighting.

D U N G E O N S A N D D R AG O N S A fun environment where students can hone writing skills, teamwork capabilities, and creative problem solving strengths.

EPOCH (Educational Program of Children Handicapped) – Members volunteer as peer mentors in an after-school program for developmentally disabled children at the Madison YMCA.

FA S H I O N C LU B A welcoming environment for students with a shared interest in fashion. Provides assistance to charities involved in the clothing/fashion industry.

F R E N C H C LU B Explores the traditions, language and diversity of the French-speaking world. Promotes a love of the French language, while incorporating it into a larger society.

KIDS 2 KIDS (K2K) Members develop lifelong skills through inspiring the leadership of young adults.

K I N D C A M PA I G N C LU B Positively impact school culture where girl-on-girl bullying is not accepted. Students create safe spaces to discuss their own issues with their fellow peers in a non-judgmental setting.

L AT I N C LU B Promotes a love of the Latin language and an appreciation of the Roman culture, bringing aspects of it into larger society.

M E N TA L H E A LT H A N D MINDFULNESS Members practice a variety of mindfulness activities and stress management techniques, while spreading positive messages to the school community.

MOCK TRIAL Members learn how to develop proper arguments against other schools in the New Jersey Bar Association Foundation’s competitions.

N AT I O N A L H O N O R S O C I E T Y

SEAL

Applicants are evaluated based on four criteria: scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Chapter members support the academic and spiritual life of the school.

Published annually, SEAL (Saint Elizabeth Art and Literary Magazine) is a student run publication featuring student work.

O PE R AT I O N S M I L E

Promotes a love of the Spanish language and an appreciation of the Spanish culture while incorporating aspects into larger society.

Operation Smile is a private, not-for-profit volunteer medical services organization providing reconstructive surgery and health care to children and young adults around the world born with cleft lips, cleft palates, and other facial deformities.

PE R S O N A L F I N A N C E C LU B Promotes understanding of various financial concepts and the proper management of finances.

PICKLEBALL SOCIETY A fun environment for students to participate in pickleball games.

P O L L I N ATO R S CO M M I T T E E Embracing values of environmental stewardship and sustainability, members promote student-led initiatives to foster the importance of protecting the world’s pollinators.

P R I N C E TO N M O D E L U N I T E D N AT I O N S Promotes leadership qualities by addressing global issues through the eyes of young adults. Members prepare materials for Princeton's Model UN conference.

S PA N I S H C LU B

S T U D E N T CO U N C I L Members are elected both schoolwide and by grade level. Representatives promote the concerns of the student body by acting as liaisons with school administration, and plan various events to enhance school spirit.

T H E B E T H S T U D E N T N EW S PA PE R Through this journalistic platform, members communicate information to the student body. Students learn and grow while reporting on issues important to them in a professional team setting.

TOWA R D B O U N D L E S S C H A R I T Y Members develop spirituality and minister to those in need by embracing the charism of charity while exploring their inner essence — a heart which beats with love for others.
