Environment - The Minsmere Levels are flood water catchment marshes that drain the land from Sibton through Yoxford and Eastbridge, as well as Leiston and Sizewell marshes, out to the sea via the Minsmere sluice. Construction could bring unacceptable water pollution, habitat destruction, biodiversity loss and flood risk to this sensitive aquatic environment. Many animals and plants could be killed or displaced.

Environment - The Sizewell site is surrounded by nationally and internationally designated conservation areas. Construction will bring unacceptable habitat fragmentation and biodiversity loss to this rich wetland environment. The Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty will be cut in two. EDF must address these cumulative effects in an integrated, sympathetic way
