Constituto Chao/Organised Chaos
The term ordinadis chao - organising chaos - is my perception of architecture and it’s role within the world. The word chaos in itself inhibits a negative connotation and is quite jarring, but by acknowledging and understanding its existence you become far more capable of producing higher quality results of order. Life is the balance of chaos and order, light and dark, Yin and Yang; neither qualities are greater than the other, they are complementary forces that are required to exist. Everything around us has been fragmented into individual puzzle pieces, our task as architects is to identify the qualities of each piece and see the various possibilities that can come from it. It is natural for chaos to exist, and it is natural for us human beings to arrange that and make order from it all.
