Eachofthethreerockerarmassembliescontainbushingswheretherockerarmsaresupported ontherockerarmshafts.Thesebushingsarenotservicedseparately.Eachintakerockerarm assemblyoperatestwointakevalvesineachcylinder.Eachexhaustrockerarmassemblyoperates twoexhaustvalvesineachcylinder.Ineachsetofrockerarmassemblies,theexhaustrocker assemblyisthewidest,straddlingtheintakeandfuelinjectorrockerarmassembly.Thecenter rockeroperatesthefuelinjectorfollower.SeeFigure1-49.
