Recipe Name: Mint and Mango Iced Green Tea

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Refrigeration Time: at least three hours

Course: Beverages

Servings: 8

1. Ingredients: 

Ten green tea bags

Hot water

Twelve mint sprigs (large, divided)

Eight ounces of vodka

Two mangoes (peeled, pitted, and cut into pieces)

Mango silver (for garnishing)

Ice cubes

One lime (sliced)

Honey

2. Directions: 

Take a heat-proof pitcher or a pot. Pour hot water into the pitcher or large pot.

Now, steep tea bags in the pot for 5 minutes.


Now, remove the tea bags and discard them. Set aside the tea to cool down.

Then, add four mint sprigs. Cover and refrigerate the pitcher for almost three hours.

On the other hand, prepare the mango puree.

Add mango and half a cup of water to a blender. Blend until you get a smooth texture.

Then, transfer it to another container and refrigerate it.

It is time to prepare and assemble the tea.

Before you do anything, remove the mint sprigs from the tea.

Divide the mango paste into equal parts.

Add one ounce of vodka in every glass, one mint sprig, ice, and tea.

Garnish with lime and mango silver.

Serve immediately.

3. Recipe Notes: 

Do not steep the tea bags for more than five minutes since they will turn bitter.

If you do not cool the tea before refrigeration, you will get a cloudy tea.

You can add herb and fruit infusers to this iced tea, such as peach, blueberries, lychees, and basil.
