INDUSTRY
AVR London a multidisciplinary practice of artists, architects and photographers. I worked as a 3D artist in a team producing professional and captivating architectural illustrations for some of the world’s most respected architects such as Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners. Over 7 months I was given a great deal of responsibility and I felt as though I was a valued member of the team. I had the opportunity to lead my own projects, work in a team on larger projects, and regularly be in contact with clients. I used Autodesk 3DS Max, a professional computer graphics program for making 3D models alongside Corona Rendering and Photoshop to produce professional renders.
Foster + Partners is an award-winning British architectural firm for sustainable architecture, urbanism, engineering and design. The studio environment was a stimulating and a fast paced place to learn and I had the opportunity to work independently and as part of a renowned and inspiring team. I worked on the Red Sea Development, one of the most ambitious regenerative tourism developments to take place. I was intensively trained to industry standard in Revit and used this throughout my placement. I also learnt Lumion and Enscape and spent time in the workshop model making - see model below. Through CPDs I also learnt Rhino through 3 16h classes at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.
